Goethe-Universität Frankfurt Institut für Biochemie II

The Institute of Biochemistry II (IBC2) is part of the Medical Faculty of Goethe University Frankfurt. We are dedicated to basic biomedical research and focus on molecular mechanisms that determine cellular signaling pathways, intercellular communication and cellular quality control, both under physiological and pathophysiological conditions. IBC2 offers access to state-of-the-art technologies (e.g. a quantitative mass spectrometry unit or the Frankfurt CRISPR/Cas Screening Center), well-equipped laboratories, a vibrant scientific exchange and an internationally competitive scientific training program.
