The research group "Structural Chronobiology" ,led by Prof. Eva Wolf , works on the 3D-structural, biochemical and biophysical characterization of proteins involved in circadian (daily/24 hour) and circalunar (monthly) rhythms. Our aim is to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying these biological rhythms, which are e.g. important for human health or reproduction of marine animals.
