PhD Position
Activities and responsibilities
The advertised position is located at the Department for Radiotherapy (principle investigator(s): Prof. Dr. Martin Stuschke. The project is linked to the focus area Lung Cancer of the GRK.
The PhD project of Prof. Stuschke and Dr. Sak will study the effect of epigenetic modulation of chromatin on the sensitivity of lung cancer cell lines to cisplatin or irradiation as defined in the project. The role of miRNAs with reported function in regulating key chromatin remodellers and their effect on the DNA damage response and radiosensitivity in a panel of molecularly defined cell lines representing clinically relevant NSCLC subtypes.
