Lab Manager (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- Administration of transgenic mouse breeding, including maintenance of our mouse lines and writing of ethical permits (in German)
- General scientific administrative duties, correspondence and documentation in German and English
- Responsibility as genetic safety officer and occupational safety officer
- General lab organization
- Maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Management of the department’s finances
Your qualifications:
- Trained and experienced scientist in molecular biology holding a Ph.D. degree
- Strong background in mouse handling and management of mouse strains, preferably with experience in generation of genetically modified mice
- Excellent language skills (German and English)
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently
- Motivation and team spirit
